Until the last moment I wanted to stay out of politics... But the crazy bald dictator decided to attack Ukraine. I am Ukrainian myself, but I lived in Russia the rest of my life. I'm not responsible for that crazy bald dictator. I've been forced to leave my mother country for political reasons.
If you compare Putin with Hitler, just remember WW2. Are ALL germans responsible to this? Are all italians responsible for Mussolini? I beg you, don't associate russians with Putin! The REAL russians hate that crazy bald dictator!
Glory to Ukraine! Putin is a dickhead!

I'm sure most of locals are from US or Europe. It's hard to explain the tradegy of current situation... Imagine that a crazed dictator seized power in your country and attacked a neighboring country. Like Joe Biden attacked Canada. Or Olaf Scholtz attacked Austria. Hard to imagine?

You should realize that Zelensky is just as much of an authoritarian dickhead. He shut down dissident media outlets and banned opposition political parties. His regime was installed in a 2014 coup (a so-called "color revolution") puppet-mastered by the corrupt U.S. State Department. He and Putin are both rotten assholes.
On top of that, the Western support for Ukraine is being controlled by vicious people who don't really care about the Ukrainian people, but only about desperately trying to protect their grifting and money laundering schemes there. Not to mention the biolabs that Western authorities have been concealing. It's a disgusting mess on all sides, controlled by amoral monsters.
The best outcome at this point would be a negotiated peace with Ukraine being a neutral country, rather than an escalation which could quickly develop into World War III. And then a removal by impeachment/conviction of the illegitimate, criminal Deep State regime in the U.S., which provoked this whole conflict by trying to bring Ukraine into NATO (out of sheer arrogance and Wag the Dog desperation, not any actual potential benefit to the people of either country). Congressional midterms are 7 months away, and every person with a working brain can smell the Davos-influenced regime's fear and panic.
My advice is merely this: don't let yourself get sucked in with the gullible, Lupron-flavored frozen yogurt-eating Reddit mercenaries, who are nothing but cannon fodder. When there's evil on both sides of a conflict, steer clear.

Anyway, but that does not justify war. Just in one day Putin turned the whole world against Russia. Lots of international companies left Russia. Some really retarded people say that sanctions won't affect us and it's even good! Mostly old people who watch TV. They say that Russia would develop its own industry, but the last 20 that government was plundering the Soviet legacy. What Russia achieved since USSR collapsed? The russians are most proud for victory in WW2, in recent years, magnificent parades have been held. Putin made a real cult out of it. And now Russia itself has become like the fascists. Russian media are subject to strict censorship: it's forbidden to call it "war", they call it "special military operation". But it's real war. I have relatives in Kyiv, they say that russian military purposely shoot at residential buildings.
However, Russian losses are many times higher than Ukrainian ones. Russia lost over 17.000 people! This is more losses during the war in Afghanistan. And the authorities are hiding the facts. They burn the bodies of Russian soldiers so as not to send them home in zinc coffins. In Russia it's called "Gruz-200" (Cargo-200). Injured soldier is called "Gruz-300".
When it all started, I decided to leave my country. I had a little journey. At first I flew to Tajikistan where I met other Russian emigrants, then I moved to Tashkent, Uzbekistan and then to Georgia. Here are lots of Russian emigrants. Fortunately, I have not encountered a biased attitude. Georgians understand everything.

Just a rumour ? Putin (and the rest of his entourage) is too old-fashioned, he's a man from past. He doesn't even know how internet works, he gets all information from papers. The whole government are pretty retarded, so I doubt they could do something. Russians will just use VPN.

When we are talking about losses, we should mention that they lost 13 million soldiers in WW II.
They won with the the sheer force of numbers, sent soldiers to the battlefield in gnat-like swarms.
The Germans also had to fight with the Allies .... otherwise Russia could have even lost the war despite all efforts.
This victory is nothing to be proud of, IMHO.

Well, when I wrote the first post I was pretty emotional. Now when I got time to think about all that stuff I calmed down a bit. I rented an apartment in Tbilisi and found a remote job. There are a lot of tourists from Europe, my neighbours are Germans. They look much more cheerful than people from former USSR. I met people from Ukraine and we communicated without any problem, they spoke Russian as I do. What this war is for? They are the same ordinary people. Georgia is pretty civilized country. US department of State listed it as one of most safe countries to travel, also Georgia is going to join EU in future. It's a nice country but not one to stay forever. I plan to find a job in Europe or America and move there. The world literally divided in two parts.
