It doesn't fire and I still need to add the lights. *edit* Just noticed the texture on the back screw needs to be rotated to match the gun. - Mike (SL name: Jolan Nolan)

I'd rather see that in Q2 than Second Life =\

"What program?" www.secondlife.com - It's an online virtual world with it's own model tools, most of it is built by its residents. I wanted to make this the very first time I bought land but I didn't have enough allowance (Each land chunk comes with a maximum amount of shapes). I tried to make it in Q2 once but the draw distance wouldn't allow it :P. - Mike

I hear people complain about the "draw distance" of Quake 2 all the time, how come ? this is a limitation of the ref_gl.dll renderer of Q2 version 3.20, nothing else, caused by the size of the skybox which is a hardcoded value in there. nearly any sourceport will fix this !!

Yeah but you can't run it on a default run then. Also most engines have the thing built right in. Also, no, it's not "just" in the renderer, there are some capping code in the engine for movement. You'd also need to recompile a new version of qbsp/qvis/qrad. The BigGun I doubt isn't bigger than 8192x8192x8192 -Paril

I assume we talk drawing distance and not available worldspace here. kmquake2 is the only one which has extended worldspace and also special buildtools for it.

I think Quake2World has it too, because Jay Dolan has special tools specifically for the engine.
Yeah but what's a big gun if you can't get on top of it? : D
