Hey guys.
I posted these for the Quake2 Evolved engine first, because of their remodel project, but anyway, I'll just quote from the Q2E boards!
Second:
Hehe, you can download them over at the remodel/retexture forums. www.quake2evolved.com/blurforum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=9

This is my first, and probably last, model I'll make for this, as I am no good at modeling people, moreso on weapons. Although, I might model some of the monster's weapons just for fun.
Anyways, I have a high poly version of the gunner's chaingun that I made, here's some information on it.

Model Info|

Polygons: 4752
Vertices: 5630
Screenshots:
Close up of the side, you can see the indents.
Top of the chaingun. Notice the star formation.
Far view of the sides.
An idea of how it would look open (The three things sticking out should be spinning with the gun barrels)
Bottom view, his arm attaches there.
Top view of it open.
It's not a really good model, as I am no artist, I am a programmer, and therefore it has no mesh of any sort. I'm sure you could fix it up and attach it to the Gunner model in progress, if any.

Second:
I was bored, so I decided I should do the Soldier's weapon model. It's just the weapon, with the square end ready for arm-porting.
The model is very buggy, it has alot of sides that aren't really jointed very well, which can be easily fixed if you are careful enough. The reason for this is because I don't have much spare time to be zooming in and fixing every little crook and nanny, but until then, you can fix it yourself if you want
This model took me only a few hours, actually. I've been counting times, and I came up with:
Body - 25 minutes
Pump (For reloading) - 2 hours, 12 minutes
Pipe (Maybe for connection, like a nerve or joint?) - 45 minutes
Hehe.
It has a nice polygon count, but it's not that big. Normal Quake2 couldn't support it, as far as I know.
Polygons: 2040
Vertices: 1457
Personally, I like the pipe at the back.. it actually turned out better than I expected it to!
Anyway, here are some screenshots for your pleasure.
EDIT:
Just because I'm nice, here's two pictures of the original Soldier weapon. (Around) 47 vertices.
Side view
Back view
Close up of the pump (or slider, whatever)
Farther infront view
Clear back view
