Little fanfare, indeed. This was maybe a mistake. I can't believe that we witnessed how you made this map. I recall seeing a beta version which had horrible r_speeds. Soon after that a far more complex and detailed final version was published. Which says something about the technical mastery with which this map was done. When was this ? Last summer ? Something like that I guess. It's incredible. This map has to be seen to be believed. The dimensions and the complexity are comparable to sewer64, if anything. And to optimize such a monster map like that, to make it run perfectly smooth even on low end systems. Just awsome. And it was ignored, went completely unnoticed. Maybe because people were uncertain what to say about such a map. I think I also didn't have the guts to say something when it was released. Time to make up for that now. This is a great master's work, nothing else. I will try to write a review. Not sure if I manage to do this in a reasonable way tho.

Wow... Grieve... Your words are too kind.
I only wish I had made more of a "ceremony" regarding its release. Of course, if there is one place a Quake2 map will get any recognition, it'll be on LeRay's forum!
I hope others take a look at the map. I am very proud of it. I'm glad you enjoy it too. I look forward to reading your review. And if anybody wants to schedule a game on it, please let me know, I'd love to participate.

Hey Requiem, I don't play CTF, so I can't comment on that part, but I must say this is a beautiful map! The texture work is awesome and everything is so neat! It reminds me of the original Q2 Maps which is nice to see sometimes and the sky file gives it a little bit of an updated feel.
Everyone should take a look at this one, it is worth the download.
Maybe we can get this one reviewed here on the Cafe'?
