My First Map

I had this hangover a couple of weeks ago and thought i wanna give mapping a try.

My deepest respect to all mappers worldwide, man, what a lot of time and effort you have to put into mapping. (I might have said that before).

My map havent got any secrets, jumps, elevators, teleporters, or any other speciel stuff. Not even a door.
As I dont know to make that stuff yet (havent even tryed to learn yet). So I wanted my first map to be like every other mappers first map, very simpel.
I had great fun that weekend and my hangover dissapered, lol.
I actually would have put more into the map like some flowing complex stuctures, but my program Tread 2.4 collapsed on me and i havent been able to get it to work again, sadly.
As I play LOX mod most of the time, the map is best played in a mod with hook.
I proberbly used about 20 hours on this map. 2 hours creating the brushes/textures and the rest of the time reading how to do it and compiling the damed thing, lol.
Man is this hobby a timeconsumer or what!

Well, here it is, a very simpel map. And feel free to laugh.
I think it looks a bit like any great mappers first map anyway.
I will run it on my publick server the next couple of days, so stop by and try it out.

Hey Wixen1,
I was able to try your map out and I must say, for a first attempt, this is a really good map.
One of the best I've seen in a long time. I'm going to test it out a little more, but my first reaction is "wow". Good job man, glad to see you mapping and I'm glad you're keeping the Clan Q2C mapping alive and kicking.

Ummm, I have seen worse "first maps", that's for sure.

There is absolutely a certain degree of creativity in this first mapping attempt.
