Your spawn points are suspended above the ground. Other than that...it's as plain as plain can be. No sounds...no custom textures...no strategic routes or intricate brushwork to even distract the gamer from the lack of effort in design. It's ok for someone starting out mapping, but I thought you have been doing this for some time. Forgive me if I'm mistaken...

nah it took me about 3 hours to make it and I was just making something because the action around here istn't very exciting. oh and I forgot to check it out in deathmatch, sorry, I'll fix that!
The actual reason I made it was that I was playing on some server that actually included only bad maps, worse than this, and I got to thinking - good maps never get played much - so why don't make a bad one?

LOL...I've often felt that way too. BTW, I have always mapped using the name Panzer, but for some reason, that name is already registered here...hmm...

making empty promises here, wix ? oh wait, it's rather empty threats ..... Sabo, the map is okay for a quick'n dirty job. we have seen worse indeed. nice little arena. a propos arena .... I think maps optimized for botmatch ( "Quake 2 Arena" ) could be a rewarding approach. because bots are a Quakers best friends, and there are not too much maps where they play really good.

hmm, maybe a bit overstuffed with powerups. two times the red armor and superhealth is too much. I would rather had put the armor on one side and the SH on the other.

wow this map is really fun to play.. doesn't look like much but you did make it rather quickly... I like big open arenas a lot. I just run around and wait for a head to poke up next to the stairs, then Whammy! some stupid bot gets a slug in the eye....
