Paril: WhirlingDervish, I, personally, love your map. It's big, it's complex, it's perfect. The second I started moving around, this reminded me of a map from Quake2 Mission Pack 2, Ground Zero. This map is definitely huge and would be good for a 16 player deathmatch! There are lots of places to go and lots of items to pick up. There is some real neat architecture, and I love the little laser turret you made. The lighting was very well placed and there was a good amount you could die from. I've never seen this type of map around, it has sort of a "base" quality. This map is definitely one of my favorites, very good work WhirlingDervish.
Subatomic: I really liked this map. The use of the stock q2 textures worked really well here. Also liked the laser gun you could use and the big lasers up top near the railgun. Excellent structural layout, with only one minor annoyance. I kept coming across doors that don't open... or go anywhere. I'm sure that was intentional, but it was kinda confusing on the first run-through. Aside from that, a great map.
AAAGGHHH!!: liked the green death ray cannon, the engine room, and how the map had many areas.
Sabotuer: A fine map, big but not too big, got kinda lost in the beginning, took me a long time to figure out how to get to the bfg and quad from the top floor! I have to say I found it kinda uninteresting, the whole place looked the same, it didn't look bad, but it didn't look good either, it was like a house. On the other hand it was the nicely but not to fancy brushwork that kept the groove! The gameplay was fun, if you have 24-36 people it's gonna be fun, but kinda crowded in the halls around the power shield, but that's where the Lasergun get's useful. What I liked most about the gameply was how the halls were all upwards downward and gave the map some interesting gameplay where people get really dry of ammo! The only thing that really bugged me was the water sound from the lava, lava does not sound like water, at least not in my brain. On the other hand, it was nicely sounded, could use more of that clink-clank-clonk machine sound! Final words: Fun, but nothing special!

Without a shadow of a doubt in my mind Whirlingdervish, yours was the best constructed map. One of the first things I did was to jump in that lava pot you have boiling away. Even though I knew it would hurt me, I felt a strange urge to jump in anyway. Just a tad too big for my sort of game though...but some great ideas and your player clipping is good.
