This map won on my score sheet because it is designed to fit in with the original set of 8 dm maps. This is an excellently well rounded map. I know that it is probably more duel centric than regular deathmatch, but that doesn't subtract from the nostalgic and professionalism that it entails. It's not the prettiest map, but it is professional with a capital P. Combined with the angles and design this thing is probably going to be a regular on mutant very very quickly.

Glad you liked it peewee  I actually had Warsow duel, "Q2 Railgun is overpowered" and "Q2 Rocket Launcher is slow as mollasses" on mind when making the map. As for the name, this comes from a fandom in-joke involving a certain character from the Touhou Project series, Cirno. Her nickname is "(9)" (or more accurately, "⑨" if you have the japanese fonts) and "(9)" = Idiot for the fandom. I ended up naming the map on September 9th, the 9th day of the 9th month.
I swear this has nothing to do with pool, nine-ball or cue sports of any sort!

Choice of textures and lighting looks great + I'm a duel fan as you may have noticed. Looking forward to play this map!

I played a duel on this one today and we both liked it. Only downside is that we found it hard for the down player to come back, mostly due to the placement of the JA which aint that great imo.

Was my favorite in ffa, maybe because I timed RA so well the entire game. Rocket ppl in hallways close till you run out of rockets, then ssg ppl in the face on the ramps untill you get more rockets  I slowed down at 38 frags to let everyone else play the map a bit more, and accidentally got a double kill to end it. Central part with the mega was fun timing rockets for the players running along the outside ledge up top.
