I'll just add some more info on the map: it's a 1vs1 vanilla Quake 2 map (or small FFA, especially if you're playing against bots) and it was made for the 1st Q2R contest. The layout focuses on fast gameplay, large height differences, powerful jump pads and cactuses.

jaydolan: Thanks! I'm also pretty happy with the layout, lighting and brushwork. I should have started using more curves a long time ago.
The textures may not look that exciting on the screenies but I wanted the map to have that desert/canyon feeling and thus went with lots of yellow/brown textures and rather little contrast. I like them in-game.
The .map source is included btw (GPL applies, see readme).
