Mushashi's Lazarus changes are pretty extensive, more than I can add to my own code at test quickly. I'll be doing a quick port of the code as-is to KMQ2 instead.

Got all my porting changes made, and it's now working on KMQ2. Now for some testing...

Knightmare has kindly released a new game DLL so that the unit can be played using his KMQ2 engine. Source and new DLL are here: smd_kmq2.zipMany thanks to Knightmare for doing that - much appreciated

ThX And good Job to you Both... This smd_kmq2.zip file (kmq2gamex86.dll) is only intended for Musashi's smd directory?, Yess Right??. i copy file (kmq2gamex86.dll) to baseq2 directory, ( try ) the enemies react much smarter. But for mapping it,s no good, sound conflict... target_speaker with noise xxx.wav and a func_button with option 1) Silent, linked with target and targetname... Kmq2 plays both sounds at the same time... ??. the original Q2 func_button sound and the target_speaker xxx.wav. same story with a func_door etc etc etc, i still (hear) the door sound. i checked it four times...no luck!. So go back to (kmquake2_020_update6) and overwrite. now i hear the target_speaker sound how it's supposed to be..

You're sure you set the func_button's sounds = 1 for silent? I've added code for custom sounds (sounds = 2-99), so it's no longer silent for other values of sounds.
