Absolutely incredible!
And, shame on me for never giving you proper feedback. To be honest, it would've been nearly impossible to offer and credible criticism, it's just that good.

I've been in contact with Musashi, and he said he didn't mind my posting the port I've been working on even though it's only mostly finished. I was able to get the Lazarus_SMD game code to compile using GCC, so that means it's playable in YamagiQ2 on non-Windows platforms. The save-file system is buggy starting with the 3rd map, and I'm afraid it's beyond my ability to diagnose the issue, unfortunately. If anyone has the chops to try to fix that (Knightmare?) or if you just want the opportunity to play one the last Q2 SP mods on macOS or Linux (one map at a time) the source can be downloaded below. www.mediafire.com/file/z4zx3d7ryz2u72p/smd-yamagi-src.zip

Is this for a 64-bit version of YamagiQ2? You'd need to contact Yamagi himself for 64-bit porting related bugs.

The issue exists on both 32-bit & 64-bit versions, actually. I finally got a usable stacktrace, and ended up disabling the offending entity. Updated source & and a 64-bit macOS game library are available at the original link above. Save files work fine now if anyone wants to try it, there's just a few less particle effects in the later maps.
