It's been a while but count me in! I'm already working on a practice map just to work me back to my prime.

Heh, my technical sk1llz and savvy are still without rival...not! I've been unable to get Tread working on my Win7 machine thus and thus I had to dig through a dark closet, do battle with 8-legged critters but behold, my 10 year old mapping dinosaur rises from the past. It's dusty, noisy, Win2k and still ready to rock!

Nice! I see you got your book's poster and 99 bottles/cans of beer on the wall. Apparently ready for action! Maybe when making all your maps, you didn't know how much they would enrich the world of Quake 2 deathmath. But entering a Maric map is like flipping a chapter of an interesting novel, each a unique experience

Thanks Null and Maar! But the dinosaur has wandered into a tar pit and succumb to the depredations of time and neglect. What I'm trying to say is that the old PC pictured has given up the ghost. My mapping future is in serious doubt now. I may need to pull out before things even get started. It things turn out that way, I'd be happy to be a judges if that's wanted or needed.

Buddy NooooOOOoooooo, that is really really bad news.... your trusty dinosaur machine...
Ueh?.....Maric purchase a second-hand Xp machine, and transfer hard drives and other good stuff.

Aww, that's sad to hear. That computer truly looks like it belongs with your entire collection there! I do hope you find something that works out for you, this event wouldn't quite have the same glory without your work Maric!

Which game are you coming from, and what editor will you be using if you don't mind me asking? I'm from Paintball2, it split from Q2 in 98 or so. We have an editor named bsp, same name as the file format (http://www.bspquakeeditor.com/), that I'll be using.
