Map Earth - Missing texture with Kmquake2

Hi

If I play "Earth" with Kmquake2, some textures are missing and they are replaced by

big grills white and blue.

Maybe some game parameter has to be set?

Have you an idea about this problem?

Unfortunately, Roger Ritenour made his Earth maps with old tools that write bad paths using "\" instead of "/" for textures in the maps themselves and the in pak file. They are incompatible with pretty much all modern Quake2 engines.

They can be fixed by unpacking the paks with Winpak (other tools won't work), renaming all the files to lowercase, hex editing (with a hex editor such as XVI32) the texture paths in the bsps (replace "qed\" with "qed/"), and rebuilding the paks with the tool of your choice.

there is currently another problem I am encountering with kmquake2 : missing models.
on this shot should be iron maidens, but instead there is only this missing model - symbol.

Looks like you're using the missionpack support DLL without including the Rogue folder as one of the basedir parms:

kmquake2.exe +set game earth +set basegame xatrix +set basegame2 rogue
