Hi. I'm from Poland. My name is Sebastian. My english is not that good but I think it's enough to write here. I'm still playing Quake 2 (jumpmod + tdm). I already create 4 maps for Team deathmatch and 35+ maps for jumpmod. Every new map I'm trying to make better (looks better) and thats why i've got a request to u guys. I'm looking for textures from Quake 3 - these one ( IMAGE) and it will be nice if u change them to .wal for me in proper way, because today for the first time I used Wally to make some textures visible for QuArK (from .tga to .wal) but unfortunately most of them got error in Quake 2 (too large size 1024x1024 or 512x512). So if u can tell me how to proper set settings for Wally or send me these textures if u have. If its impossible to get these textures it will be nice if u give me a link with lots of different textures for Quake 2. PS. I will share with my maps later but I think u only accept TDM maps, not jumpmod maps. Respects.

Thx Death_Jump but they looks ugly in Quake 2 :/ I did like Margaal said converted to .tga from .jpg with option 50% smaller then use wally and still it looks very ugly... Is it possible to get the same look like in q3?

To use tga textures , you need a Q2 engine that supported tga, ( enhanced game engine ). i use Kmq2 ( why this engine??, simple because Knightmare is still active ). Quake2 ---> Quark editor use only wal filez. Follow steps. 1) Convert jpg to tga. 2) Use wally batch ---> convert tga to wal. 3) Make new dir in q2 Q2\baseq2\textures\Sebastian ( map name ) ----> put here your wal filez. 4) Start Quark and add new wal textures to editor. ( see step 2 tutorial ). Ready? 5) Now copy the new tga filez to Q2\baseq2\textures\Sebastian ( map name ) Start Kmq2 or other enhanced game engine to see your map in high tga resolution. Quake3 textures.. The trick is to adjust lighting a little bit in Quark editor and it come close to Q3 atmosphere.
