Looks like you need more health (and maybe a hidden adrenaline) in that map.
The rotating crane should have a longer delay to give the player more time to jump on the ladder.
And those elevator shafts with the ladders need a redesign to make traversal less difficult.

What about just recessing the ladder into a somewhat wider ledge? Half-Life did this with the elevator shaft Gordon has to climb at the end of the Office Complex chapter. Those diagonal pieces would also block the elevator from moving.

X-Ray played my updated map u1m2: I've updated some rooms, enemie & item placement and improved the elevator shaft.
