Hello guys! Once again, a small mod to your avail that SkiesOfBordom and I have teamed up on. You like your LOX? Time for something a lot more fun. This is your chance to get in on the action for Insane Weapons Mod! We need all the crazy, insane, creative ideas you guys can dish out! If you want to know how crazy, insane and creative this mod actually is.. well, let's just say a map full of napalm jumping beans, Fooby the Kamikaze Watermelons, rubber balls and water balloons will give you the rush you so elegentally deserve. But, that's not all; we have a barrelfull more of ideas at hand, but we also want to see what you guys can pitch at us! Aslong as the idea is still sticking to the Quake2 engine limitations (or not, we can find workarounds ), we'll go for it! Post your ideas here, and we'll think of the best way to go at it! QwazyWabbit himself got a sneakpeak at a few of the weapons, and let's just say we were having a lot of fun on my server throwing kamikaze watermelons back and forth, and seeing watermelon peices flying everywhere! -Paril

i'd like to add, that we need skinners.... im the modeler, i just suk at skinnning.
TelePuddle Generator - 10 - creates a puddle that u can jump into and teleport to. - owner specifies the destination first, then the tele - disapears after player steps out of destination puddle
eventually we are doing that one. among the last cuz its complicated.

My concern about the telepuddle is all the puddles you'll see puddles laying around the map. There could be puddle-campers!

The Holy Handgrenade Anybody remembers this from Monty Python's Holy Grail? A handgrenade that follows the enemy Or some weapons from Worms Armageddon, like a sheep that you can send out and if somebody comes close to it, it explodes

1. heat-seeking evil-rabbit launcher? goes right for the neck and drains life at a given rate until "shaken" off or blown up by incoming explosives.. 2. pogo-nades that throw a victim straight up in the air (quite high or into the ceiling) when detonated.. 3. a wide-area-of-effect laser weapon that shoots a pie-wedge shaped "beam" of lasers to cover broad swaths of ground with flaming death.. 4. tractor beam bucky-ball launcher that shoots a bouncing projectile that does 25 damage if it touches you, but bounces off and continues to ricochet around for a predetermined number of bounces... The projectile itself should drag you toward it like a xatrix trap to maximize how often it hits things. this way it should bounce around a room and fling you around while it beats you up. 5. gib-mines.. make a deployable proximity grenade that is "disguised" to look like a head gib so people don't know which ones are just body parts and which ones are land mines..

The hammer of Dawn from Gears of war. "Paint" a target, then after 5 seconds, this motherf**king HUGE laser beam comes down from the sky, and you guide it using the laser beam.

a "clone shield" - a device that, when used, surrounds the player in moving clones of himself.. making it confusing for players, not knowing which one to shoot at to kill the player.
let's say there are 4 clones + the real player:
x.....x ...o... x.....x
x being the clones, o being the player. now to make this more interesting, upon each use of the device it's a random position where the player might be in relation to the clones. for example:
o.....x ...x... x.....x
and then next time, it could be:
x.....x ...x... x.....o
so on and so forth, changing each time you use it.

I forgot the name of the weapon, but maybe some of you may know. It was the weapon in Turok II I think where you could fire these grenade looking things that would track/follow the enemy until it caught them and shredded their head off. It made a really narly sound like a power tool or something haha. Maybe something like that would be cool.

oh yeah those little thingies that drill into your head and exlplode.. those rocked. Can't remember what it was called either.. I saw a "10 best video game weapons" video on youtube with that one in there.
really scary.
