To answer the ship is not big when using bigviper model, it's because misc_vipers have a hardcoded model, it can't be modified via the model key, unlike ammo. -P Thank you. Then is impossible to add the floating ship from the override right? I need a little brush or something... ? That's I want to know- Also I tried with ammo over the path corner, dont work =/ Regards

Yes. Is not dificult to add the model: 1) you can put the space ship model to other entitie. But you need a floor to place an entitie as ammo Example1 { "origin" "796 1971 100" "classname" "ammo_cells" "count" "200" "angle" "-93" "model" "models/ships/bigviper/tris.md2" } 2) You can add a path corner (in this case the ship looks small) I need the model in his orginal big size, to create the illusion of a huge mother ship over the map.

I'm'a make a map for each category I hope, though I'm gonna focus on extreme theme orientation rather than trying to "place" well, contest-wise. It's a great idea Laura, I'm glad you're doing this. A override is a text file to modify some maps entities. For example TS uses many overrdides like: For base1.bsp base1.bsp.override Then you will see changes between base1 of TS and the original one in Quake 2, for example the railgun in the place of the quad. As you can see in this override we added space ships and items of of all kinds. If you want to see how it works, you can run your r1q2 an play koth7.bsp Later quit r1q2, and add this www.megaupload.com/?d=PX5M81Q4 to baseq2/maps/ Then restart r1q2 and type gamemap koth7. You will see the difference. The override only will work if you upload the text file in the r1q2 Overrides Generator. The generator of overrides will add to your text a few lines that link the original map. Overrides generator: r-1.ch/r1q2gen.php

Thank you but is chinesse for me If I understand this right, you will have to make a brush/box the size of how high you ship(entity) should float. Then place your ship(entity) on top. Then you assign you brush/box to no draw and slick, which means you cant see it when the map is running and you will be able to go/run through it as if it was never there, but your ship(entity) will be floating over you, as it is sitting on the invisible and walk through brush/box. Did it make it any clearer.. lol.. -W1 I really appreciate all the help. But my intention was to achieve from the override. I shed I can embed the map from the override, but my intention was to leave it floating on the map. I can embed the ship against a wall in the map from the override, but my intention was to leave it floating on the map. Because i dont understand about mapping with 3D programs. The map I made with panjoo was a collaborative work, I presented 2D draws to show what i wanted and Panjoo did the 3d work. My original question was about the path corner command, that I can use from the override. It happens that path corner for some reason make the ship looks smaller. Thank you all (sorry my bad english)

You'll need an editor like GtkRadiant and the .map file. You create a brush under the entity and assign the surface properties slick & nodraw to it. I'm on my way to a party & drunk atm but I'll explain it in greater detail tomorrow if needed. Thank you but is chinesse for me

Maybe not. But is the same with the edge an original DM id sfotware map. There are many versions of all DM Maps. Anyway i would not know how to add the invisible element in the air to put the space ship over that element. Because i dont know 3d design. Thank you
