Grieve, i have tried it and it is a nice duel map and the textures fit it, but I would recommend you to spice it a bit, like for example making some parts of the exterior corridor higher than others by using ramps or to make it not completely symmetrical. Also, you should block the access to the windows (a vertical bar would be enough), as it feels weird when there is invisible walls (in this case the sky beyond the window).

Most of the common compile tools aren't designed with this format in mind and so can't be used to compile maps made with J.A.C.K., which is why the editor ships with its own, 220 compatible, compile tools. Search for TxQBSP or TxQBSP_xt from bjptools_xt, which has support for huge maps (at least in Quake), 220 map format for both Quake and Quake 2 and advanced texture coordinates. It should work for what you want. The rest of the compilers (vis and rad) can be anything you want, related to this issue. Except now she cost you money to use, is this paid editor still being actively developed or has the dev/author made their money and moved on? I did notice a free version but its from 2016 with no recent updates that I could see unless I missed something. As far as a i know, development of it stopped not much long after it turned commercial, because he got harassed on the Steam forums by trolls, so there is not much difference with he free version. By the way i do recommend using the previous to last free version, as for me it works better.

Ok, now i understand what you are searching of. There is of all Quake 2 maps, if you are interested. You can also check for some websites archived at www.quaddicted.com/webarchive/ (mostly Quake, not much Quake 2). About leray.proboards.com/thread/3978/opinion-gaming-industry-open-question you are better convincing first someone who knows most of the community and can spread the word, as in this community will be the most effective method. To help with that, advertise yourself in all Quake, Quake 2 and Quake 3 sites.

I do not have anything but there is several programs that let you copy an entire webpage with a few clicks. You could try them.

Looks nice, but could you change the texture on the lower part of the second screenshot? The tiling of that one is very noticeable. nope, didn't use the remixer, did it the oldfashioned way - decompiling with BSPC, then forcing a billion vertices to the grid to close the gaps ... You have patience, man. Not that i can talk, as i am currently editing a 3d model moving vertex by vertex, and it has around 36000 ... Good thing it is only on a part of it that i want to change.

I would need to take a look, i am not paying much attention to this so i do not keep a record of websites with new Quake 2 maps. Also, nowadays there is too many people who only release on Modb, Twitter or Discord.

Man you can't tease me like that and not cough up a link Yeah, i forgot that there are some mappers who no longer post their maps here, not that i can blame them for doing that, given the current situation ... For example, you can check this place, and search for ''Q2'' and ''Quake 2''.

I am up to participating. If this goes on i can advertise it around if necessary.
About the blind map session idea is good, but probably thinking ''small'' will be better till we are sure we have people.
