Here's the latest version for public testing. Haven't come up with a name yet. The map was conceived as a duel, but it is also suitable for 3-4 players.

luv that map, there are so many fresh ideas and nice visuals, good atmosphere, and all is well done. the railgun remains a bit a problem .... delaying the opening of the cabinet with the RG is a good way, but after someone has gathered it, he could easily dominate the game.
like here, my fave railgun camppoint

That may become a part of small SP project. I'll call this map "Arsenal": the facility, where secret developments of Strogg are stored. Put a couple of enemies for eye candy: Two gunners guarding the secret bunker:

And there would be power cube chambers or shootable panels: Player must collect 2 power cubes (or destroy 2 panels), and then railgun chamber opens:

when are you going to release a test - version, for the Q2 Cafe staff ? I plan to make a multi-map unit, so this one won't be the only map in unit. This will definitely not be the very first map in the unit. It's very well defended facility, there would be a lot of strong enemies: sentiens, gladiators, tactician gunners etc. So I plan to make somewhere a disguise chamber (like in Ground Zero), so that the player goes unnoticed. Maybe there:

But it's little monotonous, isn't it? I risk getting a "corridor-room-corridor" map, that's not good.

yep .... what about outdoor - areas ? This is exactly what I'm missing. But I'm really bad at making rocky terrains (or maybe this editor is not suitable for such purpose).
I also thought about that outdoor area at Supply Station, really like it. Maybe just decompile and put in my map?

You can probably build a better, larger outdoor area. No need to copy one of id's maps.

Oh, it seems stroggs have a trump card up their sleeve!
Probably, there should be "garage" for this dude. Can you advise a good texture? Probably it should be 128 high.

I would try using big factory door texture from mintro (texture set is e2u1 I think). Or maybe the similar big door from rhangar1.
