a grid size of 32 in the editor means indeed 32 world units, etc. the relation is 1:1 So that means ,If you sinc you intire map one unit in 32 unit grid, you cant get it up to make the 10 unit you just told me schould be perfect for the spawnpoint, right? That would couse problems becourse it will either be 9 or 11 unit you will have it to move to, right? And that might be my problem...dont know... Just asking, man iam just a newbee.. Wixen1

well if you group all your spawns together, then set the grid size to 1 unit, you can group select all of your spawn points and drag them up 1 unit so they are even with whatever surface they are all on.. This will only work if you actually have them all set at 1 unit below the floor level on all of the spawn points.. if they are at different depths into the floor then you will have to manually grap them and lift them...

hi
i was just wondering how you get those lovely curves into your map?
im working on a map myself, and would love to add curves like those. im using quark but the standard circular shapes are 10 sided and ugly.

hmm, then you are confusing the 10 - sided prism brush with curves. you find curves under "shape builders" ( Brush Arch/Cap maker, Brush Bevel Maker ). you can let the editor subdivide the curve as fine as you want it , invert it or make it a segment with thickness.

So he did, but if he uses Quark and iam using Tread, whats the use.? Anyway: I have shapes plugins: Arch, cone and cylinder. All of these I can modify depth, width, length, number of sides and size to. Then if nessasary i can later carve, clip/split or make vertex manipulation to it. Hope it helpes you.. Wixen1
