Allright! all you get is 2 for now... Looks cool, huh? It's a minisub! To get to a cool item (or weapon), you will need to climb inside this baby! However, you need to work some controls prior to boarding. The control room is only accessible via the following... Instead of merely throwing a teleporter in the map, I made this whole map for the teleporter! Although it sparkles like a normal teleporter, you will not be able to use it until you press a nearby button. Wait until you see this thing power up and function! Of course, to use it, you will somehow have to get into the room and then through a forcefield. This is the room that is the most complete of the whole map. (95%) -KF

Screen shots will be surfacing as soon as the lighting program completes it's task. It's taking awhile, cuz there's lots of open rooms and 'clear' textures.
...anyway...stay tuned for a couple cool photos.

Making Level of the Week, must qualify you for something.
If I had to guess, you are somewhere between 3/4 Jester/Panzer level, and a couple jumpads away from a Maric level. Now, if you only had less character....

If only you could zap out all of the textures and just to be new...zap the sounds out too! WoW!!! Now you would be a 'professional mapper"! In fact....maybe a big square.....hmmmmmmm

I looked at it briefly with LeRay. I must commend you on it! There're are several rooms with very nice modelling going on! There are places that yield nice vertical depth, and I especially like the moving doors and platforms! I like to move about in a map and have some interaction with the environment!

I believe when people are speaking of the 'Z' axis, they are talking about vertical movements/action.

Me pour gas in the fire? What fire? Geez! Who brought it up? I think you have brought up a very good question, but you just have your boards mixed up.

I'm sorry for encouraging disco lights, insane traps, and weapon placements that defy the logic of others. I'm also very sorry for not using jump pads as the primary means of getting around. ;D
I'm especially sorry for trying to encourage map interaction. I suppose that a static, bland map is really the way to go. As long as it looks pretty. ;D

I thought the map looked great. The textures were top notch and fit together very, very well. The only negative I had (my personal pet peave) was lack of interaction with the environment. No moving doors or elevators. It kinda was like a ghost town in there. The rain idea is very good. Perhaps you could make another animated texture (transparant) of small water splashes that you could apply right over the floor texture. (give the illusion of the rain splashing down) Anyway...very nice map.

;D ;D ;D Allright!!!! I see now!! I'm sorry, I think this is the first time I have seen something like this. Clever! That is a real good way for people to pay attention to the actual layout! The animated arrow pointers are a nice touch too. The jump pads seem to spin me around very quickly, but it's a neat way to get you around the map quickly. I'll have to check this map out furthur....

Yep! I can get it to play, but nothing is colored, except the weapons. Actually, the floors are yellow/black, but that's all the colors. No textures or anything.
